Check the other available solutions, the other offers, what others are doing well and/or missing in the market.

When you have your head around these things you are ready to start. You know who, what, why and how to do everything better than the current best! If you’re having trouble take a look at magazines on your topic, search relevant forums online – ask any existing customers you might have.
